The Kabbalaist Rabbi Shimshon Chaim Nachmani was a Rabbi of four large communities throughout Italy and at his end of life in the city of Reggio Emilia. The Kabbalist Rabbi Shimshon Chaim passed away in the year 1779 in the city Reggioin Itlay.
The ‘Chida’ had testified That the Kabbalist Rabbi Shimshon Chaim was full of ‘Kedushah’and wisdom and also knowledge in studying ’Kabbalah’ and also safley studding practical ‘Kabbalah’.

There is a Torah obligation for every Jew to participate in the Mitzvah of Contributing Half a Shekel (Shemos 30:15). We have the tradition of this donation in the month of Adar, so that the funds would be ready to use in the month of Nisan (which is the month that follows)
